I collected up my many small pumpkins this morning and cannot wait to roast some! I love any excuse to use my English trug. We are getting closer to our next overseas buying trip and I will definitely be on the hunt for more of these trugs... I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend and happy gardening!
Hi Katrina, Rodney from The Agrarian Kitchen has a great recipe that was published in Australian Country Style a year or two ago for pumpkin tarts. I may start there! Have a good week, Tammy

My name is Tammy and I partly own The Drill Hall Emporium with my mother, Sue and my sister, Donna. My sisters and I began sourcing antiques when we were in highschool. Eventually our market stall evolved into what is now a successful antiques store. My time is now spent working in the store and travelling locally and overseas searching for interesting antiques.
I have some of these in my vegie patch - maybe I should check on them as they might be ready to harvest too. They make a lovely display :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, my vines were dying off, so I think they were ready to pick. So check your vines, maybe?
